Joking aside though, I find the story very interesting as well as all the changes you have made to the world by effectively replacing the Third Rich with an alien enemy. Not to mention your recarving of the world map. Kinda rings with Gunparade March a little too come to think of it.

I never would have thought about if the civil war had ended with a truce or countries dividing to form both types government and rule as opposed to their real life counterparts.

I also like how you haven’t stuck to one group of nationalities but incorporated everyone. You also ranged the ages more evenly. I really cant wait until you start to show there personalities in conversation. Because all I see right now is a picture and a bio. I mean I’ve seen a little bit of the first three introduced, but I want to see more.

Thanks for your honest words. I am a big mecha fan, and the decision to make the Luftritter the way it was was a difficult one. The intent was always to have more traditional looking mecha (the Panzerritters), but for the aircraft, the justification for the Striker Units from Strike Witches did not sit well with me, nor did I think that open exoskeleton armor like Sky Girls could be made to fly with turboprop technology, even with the Harmonic Cores. There was also the consideration of actually being able to see the pilot…in any case thanks for the comments, and we will keep working.

I’ve been watching from the shadows for some time. I’ve been on the fence about this series for a while. When I first came across the annoncement that LW had put up on her blog I was excited. I circled the site almost once a day to see if anything new had been put up.

And as content began to surface I only got more excited. There were no pictures of the MuseRitters so I had no clue what would come down the pipe. I didn’t think much of it and figured you were waiting to premere them. So I waited, the manga started out just fine. LW’s work was airtight and held water with high standard as always.

But then I actually saw the Luftritter. Mecha fanboy insanity ensued. Among the thoughts of “That’s not a mecha!” and “Just what kinda crap are these two trying to pull?” I managed to calm myself down and stop short of dumping this site off of my bookmarks.

I thought it though and knew that I liked the art, knew that I liked the premise and the well crafted charecters. And then figured that it was still interesting even if the perception wasn’t how I invisioned (Transferable Moble Suit) :X

And so I keep reading and then came across Strike Witches and the klaxons were almost deafening. Then I thought “Well, all there doing as making them ride motorcycles with propellers instead of mounting propeller units onto their legs and they took the loli element out by aging them up and adding Yuri love interests.” Strike two, mostly for the slight tweaks from one to the other.

But even still I kept awaiting every page. Like it didn’t matter how much the fanboy side hurled insults at the story I still kept reading. I couldn’t help but love it all in general.

So what if they aren’t piloting MVF-M11C’s. So what if they took favorite elements and made them into something tangible for their story, I do it all the time so I really can’t point and call the kettle black.

You guys are doing something wonderful here, creation. If I had money you would have it. But I don’t so all I can offer is my support and loyalty. Keep going, don’t stop until you reach the top.

If i was you, i would have use Joomla because it’s more powerful CMS, but it’s just my opinion.

But I actually know how that whole music thing feels like. I wrote my college app. essay on performing with a band haha ^^ except It was more about the drums than the piano…but yeah, same feeling when you enjoy what you’re playing.
